Baby Sister OR Baby Brother

In exactly ONE SHORT WEEK from today, we find out if Caroline will have a Baby Sister OR a Baby Brother!!! I can't believe the time is already here. The first trimester of this pregnancy was so slow, but this second trimester is flying by so far. I hope this week flies by too!! We can hardly wait!!
People keep asking me if I have a feeling either way. I really don't! This pregnancy has been really different than Caroline in terms of how sick I've been...with her, I was really sick every day for about 4 brutal weeks. With this pregnancy, I was really sick on and off (about every other day or so) for a loooooooong 15ish weeks. I just now started to feel better. I haven't had any cravings because food hasn't tasted good until now. The baby's heartbeat has been between 158-163 most appointments. I'm already showing big time (it's crazy!) and feel like I'm carrying high. I guess, if I had to guess, I might say girl. But most of my friends and family think boy (including Caroline...although she has just started saying there is a "sister" in mommy's tummy).

Either way, we'll be thrilled. I thought I had a preference at first but now I really don't. I think it will be incredibly special for Caroline to have a sister and get to experience that relationship. I also think it will be amazing if we have a boy and get to experience "one of each". I do think Matt needs a little golfing buddy...although he says he doesn't because he already has one (Caroline :-) Really, we just want a healthy baby (I'm very apprehensive about this part of the "big" sono) and everything else will be icing on the cake.
