Christmas Traditions 2013: Part One

December 2013 was full of fun and traditions. Here is part one of the picture dump :-)
The day after Thanksgiving, we always go to McShan's florist to visit Santa, then we go out to dinner, and pick out our Christmas tree. It's a great way to bring in the Christmas season, and our family just loves this day! The kids spent a lot of time with Santa and received candy canes and ornaments. They were so excited!

Thanksgiving 2013

We had a fun, festive, low-key Thanksgiving this year. We started off the holiday by getting to watch Caroline's first elementary school Thanksgiving performance. She sang some songs, did a little jig, and shook her streamers :-) We also had fun watching hilarious Henry put on a show. I love how she is looking at him in this pic :-)

We are so thankful for sweet girls in Caroline's class this year:
Caroline, Mary, Bella, Reese, and Stephanie

I would use the words FUN, FAMILY, FOOD, and FOOTBALL to sum up our Thanksgiving Day 2013! We woke up and had our annual coffee cake and egg-sausage casserole for breakfast while watching the Macy's Day Parade. The rest of the day was spent at my mom's playing, eating, watching the Cowboys and resting. It was a great day! So much to be thankful for!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Matthew!!

In an effort to do some major catching up on this ole' blog of mine, I'm going to be doing some major picture dumping of the last few fun events of 2013. It will be hard not to be wordy but I'm going to do my best.
Matthew turned 3 on 11/11/2013! We had a fun Planes donut party at his favorite park by our house on the Saturday before his real birthday. The weather was great, and Matthew had a blast!!

We came home and opened up presents after the party. I think this might have been Matthew's favorite party :-)

My family came over on Saturday night to open more gifts and eat cake!

Matthew loved his balance bike from my mom!

He loved it so much he did NOT want to stop for his cake and Happy Birthday song:

Matthew woke up to balloons in his doorway and a special breakfast on Monday...his real birthday!

We spent the rest of this special day at Mr. Donovan's class, Pump It Up with our best friends, and dinner at Mi Cocina with our fam of four. It was the perfect way to celebrate our sweet 3 year old!!!
