'Tis the Season: Part 3
During the last week of preschool before Christmas break, Caroline performed in her Christmas performance. It was adorable, and the kids did a great job!
Caroline made this elf at school. I'm going to keep it forever. I laugh every time I look at it!!
Class Christmas pic:
Last week, I had the fun opportunity to chaperon Caroline's Christmas field trip to Northpark. It was fun but exhausting. The kids listened to Santa tell a story, visited the trains, ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A, and watched The Twelve Days of Christmas puppet performance.
Caroline is in a playgroup for girls who will be attending Kindergarten at our neighborhood elementary school next year. We decided to host a Christmas cookie decorating party for our group. We decorated lots of cookies, ate some treats, read Snowmen at Night, played Christmas bingo, and watched a movie with a few friends who stayed over after the party.
Some of our guests:
Matthew was the only boy! He didn't mind :-)
Snowflake was a little sneaky and left this on Caroline's bed while she and Matthew were taking a bath one night:
So excited!
Matthew hopped up on Caroline's bed as soon as he figured out something fun was going on (note: he's always wearing some kind of sunglasses upside down)
Time to go look at Christmas lights on the Krauss Family Christmas Express! (or as Matthew kept saying, "the poh-press"...polar express)
The kids had to have their golden tickets to board the Christmas Express. They found hot chocolate and m&ms in their seats when they got in the car!
Matthew kept saying "I dink hot coffee!"
We saw some pretty cool lights all around our city:
'Tis the Season: Part 2
The first weekend in December, we went to a Christmas tree farm with our community group friends, the Solomons, to help them cut down their tree. We've done this every year for the past few years, and it's always a lot of fun!!

Matthew was scared at first then figured out it was fun. He kept throwing his arms up like he was on a roller coaster and shouting "weeeeeee". Cracked all of us up!
The Solomon Fam: baby Cade, Lauren, Riley, and Ben
Our fam:
This always scares me! I'm such a party pooper ;-)
Watching Matt and Ben cut down the tree. Love the looks on my kids' faces:
My lovey boy...always wanting to hold hands. He was in heaven!!
Time to trim our tree:
I have no words for this picture. I love this boy so much my heart could explode!
Matthew thought these ornaments were toy balls for him to play with. He just held them the whole time.
There is a possibility my family might get tired of all my picture taking. So I told Matt to look really excited in this picture. Here was the result, ha....kinda scary!
