Caroline is 11 Months Old!

For some reason these pics didn't show up in the last post...so I'm trying again :-) Happy 11 month birthday to Caroline! I can't believe there is only one more month before the big 1st birthday. It's just unbelievable really. To say that this year has gone by fast is the understatement of the year. It's flown!! I remember thinking that time was standing still the first few (somewhat challenging) months of Caroline's life. But since we hit about 3 months, I don't know where the time has gone.

Caroline has changed SO much this past month. All of a sudden, she's this little girl who understands a lot of what we say to her and is even starting to "talk" and repeat back to us. She has her own strong opinion now which she is not afraid to assert (hello?!? is it really time to "discipline" already...don't answer that). She giggles when things are funny, cries when we tell her "no" (this is a recent thing), and basically things are really "clicking" in that sweet little mind of hers.

Another big change this month is that Caroline is only eating table foods and now drinking from a straw sippy cup (which we've been working on for awhile). Her favorite foods at the moment are any kind of meat and fruit, waffles, carrots, sweet potatoes, cheerios, yogurt and cheese. She is not a big fan of any green veggies right now but I know these likes/dislikes change quickly. Caroline still loves to walk with her walking toys or holding onto our hands but doesn't seem interested in walking by herself.

Caroline, we love you so much sweet girl. I hope this month drags on for a looooong time so you stay my baby for a little while longer. I'm not ready for you to be a toddler so try not to grow up for the next month, okay?!? :-)
