Tomorrow is the day we say bye to Caroline's bows and hello helmet. I had been dreading this day until I heard a wonderful speaker at Building Blocks (see link on side). She said there will be many problems in our children's lives and we can either choose to be part of the problem, kicking and screaming along with our kids, or we can be part of the solution. Well, I'm going to be part of this solution and will be cheering tomorrow when Caroline gets that helmet (well, at least I'll cheer in front of her). I know Caroline is only an infant, but she can sense distress from me and if I'm happy, positive, etc...then hopefully it will help her with the transition. We're going to have happy hearts and happy faces tomorrow!!
"A happy heart makes the face cheerful." Proverbs 15:13

Praying for you, Matt and Caroline!
You have a great attitude, Laura. I am proud of you!
That's right! I KNOW how you feel and I think you will grow fond of her new look. I did.
:)
These might be the cutest pictures of Caroline yet!! That great smile will be no competition for that helmet. Keep up the good attitude... remember it is only for a short time. (how quickly has 5 months gone by... 2-4 more... is nothing).
Proud of you - great way to look at it! It will be so worth it for precious Caroline!!
