8 Long Weeks

I had to wait 8 looooooooooong weeks to meet this handsome baby:

One of my best friends from Baylor, Shae, came into town recently with her baby boy, Smith, who is 8 weeks old. Shae just moved back to Texas from Tennessee so I hope to be seeing them more (even though we don't live in the same city, I'll settle for the same state :-) I've been DYING to meet sweet Smith since November. It killed me to have to wait so long. I'm so thankful we got to spend some fun time together!!
We took the kiddos out to dinner one night and Smith kept staring at Caroline with the biggest smile on his face. It was so cute and really funny. The pic above doesn't capture it fully b/c Smith is turned but he is smiling really big. Caroline was being shy/silly and wouldn't look at him. I think he's smitten!

The next day, one of my other BFs from Baylor (Kelly) drove into Dallas to meet Smith too. We enjoyed LOTS of good girl talk at Chuy's.

The new mama with her precious boy. I seriously cannot get over how ADORABLE Smith is. His big blue eyes and head full of dark hair are to die for!!

I miss Smith already and hope to see him again soon (Caroline does too...while I was writing this post she pointed to his pic and said "Bebe Smif"...I think she might be smitten too :-)
